The "Last" Secret of The Witcher 3 discovered nearly seven years later
The Wiccher 3: Wild Hunt will be seven years in May, but would you believe that his "last" secret has just been discovered? The RPG of the open world is full of all kinds of Easter eggs - but this particular quirk has brought players to find an entire generation of consoles.
It all starts in the Blood and Wine extension, exit in 2016. This huge DLC offers a parallel quest that revolves around a young woman named Vivienne, who suffers from a curse that gets her who makes her take the form of A creature resembling a bird against his will.
Naturally, Geralt can help Vivienne cope with the curse, but as a player, you have the choice of how to approach the question. You can either transfer the curse to another person - something with which Vivienne is firmly disagree - or you can perform a ritual that removes the vivienne curse at the price of shortening his life. This last option leaves Vivienne seven years to live "at most", according to Geralt.
After doing the ritual, Vivienne said to Geralt that she wishes to travel the world and possibly visit the Skellige Islands. And just like that, some players have always wondered if there was more in the history of Vivienne. Can it be found in Skellige? Can you cross it elsewhere during Geralt's adventures? So far, there has been no definitive evidence of Vivienne's crash.
This is where the newly discovered secrecy enters the equation. As found and documented by Youtuber Xletalis, Vivienne really finds himself in Skelliege - but only after seven years of play have elapsed. Madness!
In fact, waiting for seven entire years in The Wiccher 3 would take hours and hours and hours - and you should follow the whole process. Fortunately, Xletalis was able to use the commands of the PC console to accelerate the passage of time, only to find Vivienne "Dead" on the floor of the Yennefer room in Skellige.
But as shown in the video, everything is a little buggy. The Vivienne Corps clips rather clumsily through the ground and, oddly, you can always interact with it, causing one or two generic voice lines. It is not quite the great discovery that the players hoped, but at least we know it exists.
This particular secret has been teased by the developers for some time now - and following the work of Xletalis, these same developers confirmed that it was the Easter egg to which they referred to.
So yes, it's The Wiccher 3 finished just in time for the reissue of the game on PlayStation 5, which is supposed to take place this summer. Hoping that Vivienne took advantage of his seven years!
